Vision Statement

To lead the biological gardening movement by making high-quality sustainable living microbial products that empower humanity to cultivate healthier, nutrient-dense, and more vibrant plants—naturally.

Mission Statement

To reconnect people with the balanced microbial life that powers plant growth, builds soil structure, and drives natural fertility—no synthetic chemicals, just symbiosis

Amish farmers hand mix GROZOME compost materials on farm in 2023

Our Roots

Crafted in partnership with soil health and microbiology experts, regenerative farmers and Amish artisans, each batch of GROZOME is carefully cultivated using sustainably sourced and on-farm crop residues and precision biological practices. We don’t mass-produce, each batch is hand crafted. Every handful of GROZOME teems with a complete Soil Food Web: beneficial bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes working in balance to unlock nutrients and energize your plants.

Why It Matters

Chemical fertilizers may grow plants—but they deplete the soil, and create dependency. GROZOME reverses that cycle. By restoring biodiversity underground, we empower growers of all kinds—from backyard gardeners to organic farms—to grow stronger, healthier plants with less input, more resilience, and a lighter footprint.

Our Values

Radical Transparency & Commitment to Quality: Every batch is tested and results are posted for full transparency. No shortcuts, no fillers, no lab microbes, no powder, no dead soil - our product is literally under the microscope daily.

  • Sustainability

We use only regenerative feed-stocks and local partnerships to close the loop. We are committed to sourcing earth friendly packaging solutions and current carbon negative by using our pyrolysis unit, converting green waste to bio carbon (biochar).

  • Education

We’re here to teach as much as to continue to learn. Soil science is always evolving and we are dedicated to continuing unlocking its mysteries.

Native Microbial Biodiversity Regionally Rooted, Not Globally Generic

GROZOME will soon be made across the United States, offering native microbes more relevant to your growing region. Our products will never contain lab grown microbes or synthetics.

Commitment to Building Community and Social Good

Whether you’re a master gardener or just getting your hands dirty, you belong in the Grozome ecosystem- and we would like to hear from you! Our model is designed to engage and educate ALL Joyful Gardeners, in every community in America. GROZOME is committed to making a real, local impact in the regions where our products are sold through Biomes for Better.

Where to find GROZOME Products

During our first two years, after perfecting our product, we were challenged with meeting the bulk demand from our commercial partner (Hiwassee Products) who purchased 100% of what we made (still remains the case today). Due to the constraints of our artisan small batch process, we are able to expand production with the training of additional farmers and expansion of our Shelby farm production site to accommodate our 2026 expansion into retail stores beyond e-commerce.

Bulk GROZOME can be ordered HERE and can shipped directly or be picked up at our production site: 2110 Washburn Rd., Shelby, NC. Situated on a 23 acre regenerative Amish farm.

Our retail test stores include:

  • Flora (Asheville, NC)
  • Fifth Season Market (Asheville, NC )
  • Peachey's Garden Center (Belleville, PA)
  • Tait Farms (Centre Hall, PA)
  • Martin's Garden Center (Tyrone, PA)
  • Maple Brook Nursery (Altoona, PA)
  • Gartland Supply (Martinsburg, PA)
